CMPC grows in Brazil: plans to expand its pulp mill and even imagines a new one

The company produces in Brazil today almost the same as in Chile. It has a two-million-ton plant, but it wants to expand it and has already bought forest mass for this. In the future, the group even envisions a new plant. “We have the idea, we have conceived a project, but for that to be realistic, we must first have forests,” says Luis Felipe Gazitúa, president of CMPC.
