REPORTS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Our certifications support the correct performance of Sustainable Forest Management and the different Management Systems, ensuring quality in our operations, as well as in the products that we commercialize and the by-products we recover.
We conduct annual internal environmental audits and external verifications to meet the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard. These assessments cover various areas, such as waste management, traceability, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, internal audits of Sustainable Forest Management and Chain of Custody are conducted in the relevant plants.
CMPC’s financial and sustainability related KPIs are externally verified annually. Since 2018, our external auditor is KPMG. Over 2023, audit fees paid to the external auditors represented 98.6% of total fees and non audit and audit-related fees represented only 1.7%.
CMPC has actively responded to CDP questionnaires since 2013. In 2025, the Company continued to strengthen its transparency efforts by disclosing environmental information on climate change, water stewardship, and forest management. As of 2025, CMPC’s forestry operations in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina are certified under FSC and/or PEFC standards, covering 95.32% of its total forest assets. Across its industrial operations, 13 of 53 plants are certified under ISO 14001, and 45 of 53 plants maintain FSC and/or PEFC Chain of Custody certification. In total, 47 of 53 industrial plants are covered by at least one of these certifications, representing 99.2% of the Company’s production. These certifications are subject to periodic internal and external audits to verify compliance with the respective environmental and responsible sourcing standards.
