CMPC defines seven Areas of Value Creation to develop its social investment projects for its local communities.
Culture and Integration
Support the cultural preservation of the community and highlight the intercultural factors that characterize a territory, whether traditions, languages, cultural or historical sites, customs, and others, to promote its integration.
Education and Skills Development
Provide equitable access to quality education in the areas where they operate so that future talent from the community can be trained without migrating.
Forests and Ecosystem Services
Promote the use of ecosystem services, understanding nature as part of the community and therefore capable of contributing to the development of the territories, as long as we are able to use it responsibly.
Local Supply Chain
Strengthen the development of local suppliers and their employees so that they can become self-sufficient businesses.
Entrepreneurship and Productive Coexistence
Contribute to the formation and/or development of businesses in sectors other than CMPC's, with the goal of diversifying income generation in the area.
Access to Water and Sanitation
Contribute to improving the quality of life of residents through access to water and sanitation, using innovative and collaborative solutions and training programs, understanding that water is a resource we must conserve to be able to use it.
Sustainable Cities and Quality of Life
Promote and strengthen cities with socially and environmentally sustainable criteria so that they are spaces with a better quality of life for their inhabitants.
