Days at home
CMPC Foundation, through its HIPPY program, gives us tips to take care of ourselves as a family, entertain and stimulate our children now that we are at home.
We know that isolation can be difficult. Also with children at home and trying to work on household tasks or via telework.
That’s why we’re going to share a series of tips to take care of ourselves as a family, to stimulate our children and not to overload ourselves as parents.
Let´s remember that our mental health is very important for the socio-emotional development of our children.
It’s important for children to maintain a routine
It can be simple, with schedules, that allow them to anticipate and stay active. And to you, support them in their learnings, while doing their own tasks in parallel.
An example of schedule:
Hora | Activity |
7:00 – 8:00 | Get dressed and breakfast. Share the program of the day. |
12:00 – 13:00 | Lunch and rest. |
13:00 – 14:30 | Module 3: Household tasks. Support for household chores, learning from gardening, cleaning or others. |
14:30 – 15:00 | Snack and break. |
15:00 – 15:30 | Indoor sports with balls, ropes or others. |
15:30 – 17:00 | Module 4: Art. |
