CMPC Brazil distributes prevention kits for collaborators and their families

The company delivered 6,500 units of that contribution, which consists of masks, alcohol gel and gloves.

To reinforce the care of its direct and indirect collaborators, in addition to its suppliers, CMPC Brazil distributed 6,500 kits to prevent coronavirus infection, which included masks, alcohol gel and gloves.

The initiative also seeks to extend protection measures to family members of employees and service providers during this pandemic period. The “Family kit” also has an explanatory brochure on the correct use of the protection elements in places with greater crowds, such as supermarkets and pharmacies.

In the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, CMPC was one of the pioneers companies in implementing the prevention protocol for Covid-19, which has more than 20 measures, all in accordance with the guidelines of national and international health authorities, which include remote work for administrative functions; verification of the temperature of people upon entering the company; creation of a group of Care and Prevention Agents to help people and ensure compliance with the protocol; adaptation of common spaces such as lunch places, among others.

“For CMPC, it is essential that our employees, as well as their families, are protected against this virus. People are at the center of any strategy adopted to guarantee health and safety, and also to maintain our operations”, said Mauricio Harger, general director of CMPC Brazil.
