The award ceremony held during the 2025 WCD Global Institute in Chicago, United States, highlights the contribution of our 25,000 employees and our vision to drive sustainability and local change.
Our Company was honored with the 2025 WCD Visionary Award for Emerging Leadership during the WCD Global Institute 2025, held last week in Chicago, United States. The annual international meeting of Women Corporate Directors (WCD) focused on the theme of board empowerment in new times, bringing together business leaders from all over the world.
This recognition confirms that CMPC’s vision, built over more than 105 years of history, is moving in the right direction. Furthermore, it highlights the passion and commitment of the Company’s more than 25,000 employees, present in 12 countries, to promote sustainability and the purpose of being an agent of change in local development.
During the event, Ximena Corbo, CMPC Director, in addition to receiving the Company’s recognition, also participated as a speaker in a conference on how to build a culture of trust within boards and with stakeholders, where the results of the 2025 Edelman Trust Barometer were analyzed. Ximena Corbo was the only Chilean speaker selected by WCD to address this topic, contributing her leadership and experience in the field of corporate governance.
