
CMPC enjoys significant progress in the Citizen Brands ranking, rising 86 positions.

The company went from 161st to 75th place and is the only industrial brand in the top 80 other than Codelco.
Bernardo Larraín Matte and Francisco Ruiz-Tagle are among the top 15 in the business leaders category.
With a rise of 86 places in CADEM’s Citizen Brands survey, CMPC has joined the top 80 in the overall ranking at 75th place, the only BTB company other than Codelco. This is the company’s best survey result to date, boasting significant growth over the past three years.
The study measures citizens’ perceptions of 325 brands in Chile by evaluating attributes such as positive presence, contribution to society, and everyday utility. Citizen Brands are defined as the companies and brands that stand out for their positive presence in the public eye and contributing to society, while being relevant to consumers. This means they have a dual nature; present both in people’s daily lives and in society overall.
CMPC has demonstrated steady progress in this regard since 2022 up until today, having gone from 212th place to its best performance to date.
Regarding business leaders singled out for driving corporate growth and citizen brands, CMPC Board Chairman Bernardo Larraín Matte ranked third, his predecessor Luis Felipe Gazitúa ranked eighth, and CMPC CEO Francisco Ruiz-Tagle ranked fifteenth.
The company also went up in the Positive Presence ranking, which considers aspects of the company’s visibility and memorability, moving up from 256th to 152nd place. Regarding the Relevance scale based on the brand’s work, the way it treats customers, and how they feel about the company, CMPC went from 114th to 45th place. On the Contribution measurement for improving quality of life, contributing to society, and improving the world, the company jumped from 107th to 73rd place.
CMPC placed among the top 30 for companies that care about the environment and take actions to protect it, coming in at 11th place.
