Health and Safety

We work closely with each collaborator, supplier and contractor to ensure working conditions with both high standards in health and safety and excellent performance on social and environmental indicators. This cooperation is based on continuous improvement and learning, good working relations and an emphasis on a set of practices, such as:

  • Compliance with labor and social regulations and the creation of good working conditions
  • Strict compliance with environmental legislation and CMPC’s own high standards set forth in its environmental and safety systems, which are part of certifications such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and sustainable forest management
  • Ongoing communication with contractor and subcontractor companies to ensure high performance standards and detect and correct any potential deviation from the established procedures
  • Absolutely no child or forced labor in our entire supply chain.
