Water management

The company’s water supply comes from three main sources: surface water, groundwater and/or municipal water, depending on the location and quantity needed. Primary use in our industrial operations is to produce pulp, paper, cardboard, molded pulp and tissue paper products.

Our corporate goal in sustainable development is reducing, by 2025, industrial use of water per ton of product by 25%, including all our plants distributed in the eight Latin American countries in which we operate.
Goal 6.4: By 2030, significantly increasing the efficient use of water resources in all sectors, ensuring the sustainability of freshwater extraction and supply to address water scarcity and significantly reducing the number of people suffering from water shortages.
