In order to measure the effectiveness of the actions and resources committed, the Company employs a systematic environmental audit system throughout the organization.

As part of this environmental policy, we also commit:

  • a.- To design and provide products and services that do not have undue impacts on the environment.
  • b.- To strive for the efficient use of energy, water and natural resources.
  • c.- To promote respect for this environmental policy among CMPC contractors and suppliers.
  • d.- To apply a prevention policy when risk situations for the environment or for people arise.
  • e.- To have available emergency plans for those processes where significant risks may exist.
  • f.- To contribute to the development of reasonable and necessary public policies which aim to protect the environment.
  • g.- To promote research and development in technology for environmental sustainability in the forestry sector.
